Especially when nobody is watching

The definition of the word ‘integrity’- “adherence to moral and ethical principles; honesty (especially when nobody is watching)”.
Doing right sets us free to enjoy life without the constant stress that dishonesty brings; worrying if someone will tell the wrong person about our lie, covering up evidence, trying to remember what we told others to keep the story consistent, having your brain work overtime to convince yourself and others that sneaking in without paying is ok, or taking something from someone who has plenty is no big deal…

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, I want to enjoy life and walk securely. Help me to do the right thing, ESPECIALLY when nobody is watching. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
