I was trying to cancel the last day of a 4 day hotel reservation as soon as I realized I only needed 3 days. Well, the booking service that I went through would only allow me to drop that last day for a larger fee than the price of the room. I calmly debated why they should make an expection to their policy due to the fact that I use their service all the time. They would not budge. I really wanted to say some very harsh things to them, but choose to end the phone call. My flesh felt unsatisfied because I didn’t rip into them. But my deep inside “peace” was still in tact. I arrived to the hotel and the guy at the check in desk realized I only needed 3 days and mentioned that he will talk to the outside booking service for me and try to get me out of it. He eventually did pull through for me. I’m sure that service company wouldn’t have been so willing if I would have “vented” on them.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, help me to walk in “peace” with You and with those around me, so that I can have Your inner peace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
