“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)

Back when I was younger, hitchhiking was much more acceptable. People would set out walking, hoping to be picked up for at least a portion toward their destination.

In a sense, Jesus is like that. He is walking and longing for us to ask Him into the car of our life. This attains for us eternal life.

Next, He wants us to invite Him to the front seat to talk. To sit close to us and give advice, direction, strength, and comfort on our journey.

Then, for the wisest, they ask Him to take the steering wheel and drive as we continue our intimate conversations.
