Walking distance
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened” Matthew 7:7-8 (NIV)
God wants to bless us and hear our requests. But we seem to be too impatient to let Him work out the answers.
If you knock on a door, you need to do it more than once or the person inside the house will think something just happened to bump the door.
Like comedian Steven Wright once said, “Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time”.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, give me the patience and persistence in prayer to allow You to take care of me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
