No way, yes way

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” Matthew 17:20 (NIV)

Jesus was not talking to His disciples about changing the landscape or topographic make up. His intent was to get them to trust, have ‘faith’, in God when they hand their issues and requests over to Him.

Many times in my life I encounter a situation or issue that seems to have no way possible that can be worked out. I still hand it over to God. Some things don’t work out how I want, yet He has surprised me over and over.

There’s a song penned by Don Moen that I learned (easy to find on Youtube). It’s my “go to” prayer…

“God will make a way where there seems to be no way

He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me

He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side

With love and strength for each new day

He will make a way, He will make a way”

Heavenly Father, please make a way, even when there seems to be no way. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
